Project Description
This project is an architecturally designed home with country retreat style architecture. The home features split level floor design with 2-storey high raking ceilings, and a mezzanine floor overlooking the main living areas. This project features modern style architecture with full height glazed walls, and a roof design with a 3m cantilever (overhang) over a cantilevered floor deck.
G&P Consulting Engineers proposed Tecbeam roof framing with timbre strong-backs to achieve the roof cantilever, eliminating all steel fabrication and framing to the roof design. This method of construction has provided significant cost savings to our client.
